We recently developed and deployed a custom catwalk system designed strictly around the principle of no-stop maintenance. Because this system is hung entirely separate from the ceiling grid, it provides complete structural isolation from the controlled environment. Along with independent suspension, this build features advanced materials routing and strict environmental control mechanisms to optimize workflows.

• Catwalk Access & Safety: 2’ wide heavy-duty service walkway paired with a custom removable staircase that latches securely directly to the room.
• Total Cleanroom Footprint: ~1,560 Sq. Ft. comprehensive layout divided into three core zones:
  • Main Cleanroom: 52’ x 30’ operations space with ten (10) 4' x 6' integrated safety glass window walls.
  • Pallet Pass-Through Room: 11’ x 9’ dedicated material entry zone.
  • Gowning Room: 8’6” x 9’ entrance space featuring dedicated perimeter and center air returns with an overhead air sampling system.
• Classification & Airflow: Controlled Environment Area (CEA) meeting Class 10,000 (ISO 7) standards with a projected estimate of ~60 Air Changes Per Hour (ACH) using high-volume, ultra-low turbulence routing.
• Materials Handling & Access Doors: Two (2) 24” x 24” x 24” ID heavy-duty stainless steel pass boxes with glass inspection windows and integrated mechanical interlocks. System includes six (6) 36” self-closing aluminum frame glass doors and two (2) 6’ double doors equipped with an automatic remote-operation option.
• Smart Interlocking Control: Built-in safety interlocks protect facility pressure integrity during heavy pallet movement by ensuring adjacent doors completely close before a secondary access door can be activated.
• Integrated Cleanroom Utilities: Flush-mount power plates and pneumatic utility plates paired with thirty-six (36) selectable wattage (40W/50W/60W) and color-temperature adjustable 2’ x 4’ LED flat panels. Perfect for quiet, highly efficient cleanroom operations.
