Custom Modular Cleanroom Builds: Engineering High-Performance Facilities
Partager
Precision Controlled Environments Designed Around Your Medical Device Workflow
When it comes to medical device manufacturing, your facility should be engineered to fit your production workflow—not the other way around. Whether you are assembling sensitive catheters, packaging micro-components, or operating precision machinery, environmental control, contamination management, and reliable workflow design are critical to your success.
At MMBT by Metro CAD, we specialize in custom modular cleanroom solutions designed around your specific equipment, process, and spatial requirements. From massive production floors to zero-downtime service catwalk systems, our modular framework delivers complete operational flexibility.

Our recent large-scale deployments showcase advanced modular design built specifically for high-volume medical device production. Engineered with aluminum ceiling grids, aluminum-clad polyethylene white tiles, 4-foot plenums, FFU HEPA units, and structural suspension directly from the building superstructure, these facilities deliver strict contamination control and optimal air changes.
7,500 Sq. Ft. Build Specifications
- ✔Nominal Footprint: Approximately 7,500 sq. ft. of primary cleanroom production space.
- ✔External Gowning Rooms: Dedicated 600 sq. ft. gowning infrastructure for strict particulate mitigation.
- ✔Structural Support: Ceiling grid engineered to be hung directly from the building superstructure.
- ✔Ceiling & Grid System: Aluminum ceiling grid paired with aluminum-clad polyethylene white tiles.
- ✔Airflow & Filtration: 4-foot plenum powered by FFU HEPA units and integrated LED lighting, engineered to meet ISO Class 8 (100,000 PPM) standards with an estimated ~39 air changes per hour.
- ✔Enclosure Features: Premium glass windows and aluminum doors with glass inserts.
Integrating Maintenance Access and Zero-Downtime Catwalks
Beyond our large-scale envelope builds, facility design often requires solving overhead utility challenges. Routine maintenance shouldn't mean halting your production lines. We frequently engineer independent suspension service catwalk systems—allowing facility teams to change HEPA filters and service plenum spaces without ever disrupting the active cleanroom environment below.
