È possibile programmare fino a 10 segmenti in una ricetta, consentendo PPI diversi per ciascun segmento.

Le trecciatrici medicali a filo sottile MMBT possono intrecciare i seguenti fili e fibre:

FILI: Acciaio inossidabile, rame, nichel, titanio, platino e cobalto-cromo.

FIBRE: Nylon, Poliestere, Dyneema, Kevlar, Vectran, Spectra, PET, PEN, PP, PEEK e LCP.
