Quiet Horizontal or Vertical Fine Wire Medical Braiders from 16-288 Carriers

How Quiet are MMBT's fine wire braiders?

MMBT16CHFWB is our 16-carrier horizontal braider running at 100% machine speed (300 RPM) it measures a quiet 80.1 dB and 74 dB at 50% machine speed (150 RPM). The carriers on MMBT's braiders are supported by an additional nylon shoulder which provides for quiet and smooth travel. MMBT's fine wire medical braiders use an optical non-contact sensor for wire breaks.

MMBT's braiders are triaxial braiding capable up to half the number of carriers of the braider with purchase of a triaxial kit. MMBT's braiders are able to braid segmented braids. Up to 10 segments can be programmed in one recipe allowing for different ppi in each segment. A digital measuring microscope can be added to the braider to monitor braider angle while the braid is being produced.
